CAVITE NGAYON, a weekly provincial Newspaper that comes out every Monday, is one of the oldest, long-circulating local tabloids in the Province of Cavite and in the whole CALABARZON Region IV-A.

               Founded and organized by the veteran journalist VENUS L. ZOLETA who is among the very few pioneers of the newspaper publishing industry not only in the region but probably in the whole country, CAVITE NGAYON thrives and lives up to its vision and mission as envisioned by the late Ven L. Zoleta.

              Vision - Truthful, honest and based on facts and actual events news stories, and editorials that will provide basic information to the people and will help them form the right public opinion on important issues that that affect everybody's everyday life.

           Mission - Follow and obey to the letter the Journalist's Creed, help develop writers who will continue the legacy and uphold service more than the material reward, and be a partner of both with the national and local government units(LGUs) in their public information programs and campaigns.

             The First Issue of CAVITE NGAYON came out on February 18, 1981, and for one initial year, it circulated in the province of Cavite and completed the first 52 issues mandated by Regional Trial courts (RTCs) in order to apply for court accreditation to publish legal and judicial notices as mandated by the law.

         CAVITE NGAYON is the same "CAVITE NOON" during the time of Ven L. Zoleta. On God's will, it will continue to be what it was when founded by Ven L. Zoleta, now looked up to as an icon, curved on the walls of the Fourth Estate  of the MEDIA.
